There are particular characteristics that make entrepreneurs very successful and others not. When it boils down to it, it’s not just about their success, but also their employees, colleagues, and business partners. It’s spreading the goodness and success to everyone. Josh Vern, a successful businessman and entrepreneur, gave a few tips at a recent podcast on how to make it happen.
Treat everyone with respect and listen to them. They will respect you as a leader and want to work harder for you if you also have their wellbeing in mind. If they succeed, along with you, then there’s no way your business will not flourish. When you make deals with business partners or clients, make sure everyone get a piece of the cake. You attract positive energy when you put it out there. Don’t forget to stay balanced with work and life. You will be a better boss/person/family member if you take care of yourself. The most important thing to remember is to do what you’re passionate about. This benefits everyone around you including yourself. Don’t spend your precious time doing something you have no passion for. It won’t be worth it in the end.

He might not look like it at first glance, but Yanni Hufnagel may be one of the brightest minds in basketball today. Although he was cut from his high school basketball team, his fall back gig revealed his true appreciation for the sport. Calling games for his home town’s public-access station, he earned the respect of his broadcast partner who said about Hufnagel, “He was so far ahead for someone our age in terms of analyzing basketball. You knew he’d be either doing this for a living or he’d be a coach one day.” After his stint as a commentator, Yanni worked his way up the ladder. He worked as a basketball manager and took internships with the New Jersey Nets. From there, he landed a job under Oklahoma basketball Coach Jeff Capel, who after two years referred him to Harvard head Coach Tommy Amaker. After Harvard was Vanderbilt, UC Berkeley, and finally (for the time being) the University of Nevada, Reno.
Throughout his career, Yanni Hufnagel has had the opportunity to work with some of the best coaches and young athletes in the world, and he made an impression on all of them. This includes such household names as Jeremy Lin (Houston Rockets guard) and Blake Griffin (number one NBA draft pick), whose older brother, Taylor, called Hufnagel, “probably the most genuine, hardworking guy I’ve ever been around in basketball.” With such a stellar record and reputation, it seems the sky is the limit for this young coach. So keep your eye on Yanni Hufnagel. He may be the coach to watch.

Dr. Avi Weisfogel has spent decades in the dental field. During that time, he’s built his private practice into one of the leading dental offices in Central New Jersey. He’s also undertaken a number of other business and charitable pursuits. Yet his most enduring accomplishment is certainly having founded Dental Sleep Masters.
A new paradigm in the treatment of sleep apnea
Dental Sleep Masters is a company dedicated to training dentists in the treatment and diagnosis of sleep apnea. The innovative, scientific approach that’s taught through its courses and seminars is slowly changing the way that both dentistry and sleep medicine are practiced within the United States.
The idea behind Dental Sleep Masters came to Weisfogel while he was working on an unrelated research project. He became aware of data indicating that many patients were more likely, over a given period of time, to see their dentists than they were to see their primary care physicians. Weisfogel attributed this to the unavoidable nature of dental problems. While it may be possible to indefinitely delay that yearly physical, delaying an abscessed third molar, even for a single day, is wildly beyond the pain threshold of most people. Thus, many patients come to see their dentists due to the urgent nature and elevated frequency of most dental problems.
Avi Weisfogel began focusing on sleep apnea. The disease is strongly correlated with almost every major killer in the U.S. Heart disease, stroke, diabetes and even some types of cancer have been shown to be related to sleep apnea. What’s worse, over 90 percent of those who suffer from the disease don’t even know they have it.
Through a novel program of seminars, Dental Sleep Masters has been training dentists to overcome the stark realities surrounding this deadly disease. Through the courses of Dental Sleep Masters, dentists from across the country have been able to integrate sleep medicine into their dental practices. Indeed, many have been so successful with implementing sleep medicine that they have stopped practicing traditional dentistry completely.
Through these efforts, Dr. Weisfogel has transformed the way that both dentistry and sleep medicine are practiced in the United States.
